I think this came from radio, not TV, but it's a funny scene. Jack, Mary, and Dennis were riding along in Jack's Maxwell, driven by Rochester.
Jack says to Rochester, "Oh, Rochester, there's a man standing by the road up ahead. Pull over and see what he wants."
They pull over. "Do you know how to get to the library," the man asks?
"Why, no" replies Jack.
"Turn right at the third traffic light. You can't miss it." says the man.
We used to watch Jack's 30 minute program every Thursday night. It's strange how, in those days, there were only three TV networks but there was always something good to watch. Now we have 200 channels or more and there's rarely anything worth watching. |
