Did Lawrence Welk ever do a show dedicated to the music of Leroy Anderson? Anderson is my favorite composer - it's difficult not to be happy while listening to his music: Blue Tango, Syncopated Clock, Sleigh Ride and so many more.
I know the Boston Pops has performed a lot of Leroy Anderson music over the years. Does anyone know if Lawrence Welk did a show dedicated to him?
Here is the official Leroy Anderson website:

My favorite Welk shows would be the Christmas ones with all the children there and to narrow it down, I would say those in the earlier years were the best of the Christmas ones.
I also prefer the earlier years of the Welk TV show and one reason for this (I do have others) is because the cast got to do more per show. Once the cast was enlarged, this did cut down on the amount of time people had per show and I also think it caused some to get more air time than others. I know there were good reasons for enlarging the cast and I guess it was decided that these outweighed the negatives of doing this.
